TACS go large at Peterborough showground

Another 400 children are now safer on the roads thanks to our TACS (Trucks and Child Safety) team after they attended the Kid’s Country Food and Farming Event at Peterborough Showground last month.  Many thanks to our TACS demonstrators Andrew Lavender, Andrew Morgan, Lindsey Williamson, Glen Oliver, Amanda Spencer and Gordon Fraser, who delivered nearly 30 demonstrations in a single day.  TACS Controller Tim Bulmer said: “Large events like this are a great way for us to demonstrate the dangers that large vehicles can pose. The team worked really hard on the day to attract children to the demonstrations and at some points were delivering two demonstrations at a time. ”We’d love to find out if there are any large events taking place in your community.
