TACS team triumph in 2017

The DHL TACS (Trucks and Child Safety) team have smashed this year’s target to teach 32,000 children about the dangers of large vehicles and are on track to reach 100,000 children by the end of 2018.  Throughout this year we’ve been sharing their success stories with you so it should come as no surprise to hear that 2017 has been the most successful year in the programme’s history. TACS demonstrators up and down the country have visited 183 schools and organisations and demonstrated to a grand total of 38,990 children!  A massive well done to everyone involved.  In 2018 the TACs team are hoping to go even further, and have their first training day planned for January. The work that TACS demonstrators do to educate children about the dangers of trucks, does make a difference, but there is still a long way to go.  In 2016, 328 children were involved in an accident with a truck, can you help bring this number down even further?
